Les Baux de Provence

When we stayed in Remy, we took a guided tour of some local villages, one of which was Les Baux.
It was so unusual and so beautiful.
We arrived early in the morning, before the other tourists and wandered around without interruption.
This village is set in the "Alpille", and is in the district where Vincent Van Gogh did some of his work, he was enchanted by the different greens in the landscape.

Carved sighn  from above a  shop.

Part of the civic centre.

Typical side street.

No idea, but beautiful.

Bill board with info, click to enlarge.

Architectural detail.

And again, but still beautiful.

Stone carving on the eves.

The Alpille. or as we would say , Alps.
