Had Coffee at the Franklin Caravan Cafe...

Such a great set up, it was fabulous.

The weather was fairly kind, it's such a great family spot.

The fur grandchild and his fur less dad.

Wood fired Margarita Pizza...yum.

The fur cousin and his fur less dad...working out.
Had a visit to Emma and Dales' lovely new home...
A feathered friend on the deck.

And something delicious to have with a cuppa.

It's That Time Of Year....

In Sassafras,
lots of Rhododendrons out, contrasting beautifully with all the green foliage.

More from the Strzelecki Ranges...

Some more of the beautiful landscape on the road from
Warrigal to Leongatha...
I just loved the whole area so much.

Rain rolling in over the hills.

Such peaceful rural settings.

I kept stopping and hopping out of the car
just to try and capture some of the beauty of the area

Sometimes you don't really know where the road will take you.

Goat Hearding....

They really do love to be together in a heard...
Although sometimes they need to be directed by the "sheep dog"
(or in this case the "goat dog" Boston who's really good at his job).

They're quite friendly and inquisitive...

Farmer Glen's got the gate.

The big "billy"... apparently he'll have a go at you,
but he'll behave if he thinks you've got food...

I thought they were charming, somehow it felt like being in Switzerland...

Down On The Farm...

Yesterday I visited a beautiful property in Trida,
it's between Warrigal and Leongatha, and the views are sensational.

The view looking down over the dam.
Despite the weather being all over the place,
I still managed to have a good look around.

The residents include 4 pretty large pigs, which were happily snuggled down in their shed.
Looking across one of the dams.

This little calf had just been born, and was still a bit wet.
The mother cow was very protective, so we kept our distance.

There's a little stream at the bottom of the gully
and if you follow it around, you can see a couple of small waterfalls.
More of the cows, calves and even the bull.

A nanny goat with her 2 kids.

The view from the top of the hill looking out towards the neighbouring properties.
