Happy Birthday Maxie...

Alex got the Polaroid Camera out...
To capture something of the festivities...

And a pretty crazy round of 'The Chocolate Game'...
with a modern twist,
the dice was a Phone App

Something Simple

Kind of Croque Monsieur.
Slices of toast topped with Béchamel Sauce, Bacon and Parmigano...
then popped into the oven until browned.
Delicious.

New Blue...

This morning I've been painting...
My new pantry, my old chair and the metal bucket,
all in my favourite "New Blue"

Greek Almond Biscuits...

And special things for Christmas...

Little presents from loved ones.

And the sweet nutty crunch of the Biscuits,
perfect for gift giving.

( just google for the recipe)

Christmas Is Coming...

Time to light a few candles.

French Toast and Feta...

Welcome to Monday...ready for breakfast, on my trestle table.

French Toast with Corsican Feta, and of course Coffee.

Warm, soft, kind of salty and kind of sweet,
with just a hint of bitterness
 from the Coffee.

Picnic For One...

A comfy corner of the garden, just right for lunch in the backyard.

Cheese Roll, with Salad, Bean Salad, Cold Chicken and Beetroot.

Strawberries and Mango with Ice Cream.

Delicious...

If you want to try something warm

before snuggling down.

Warm Milk and Honey, with a scoop of Ice Cream,
and a dash of Frangelico,
perfect night cap.

A Beautiful Hills Garden...

This week I took some photos at the private garden "Hillcrest"
it's quite sloping so you get a bit of a work out.
However the planting and the views are beautiful.

Chick Pea Aioli...

With Garlic, Parsley, Lemon and Olive Oil.

Over Broad Beans and Sautéed Cauliflower. And a bit of leftover Steak on the side.

Simple and delicious, although the Broad Bean shelling is a labour of love...
don't get me wrong, it was worth it.
