Upwey Permaculture Group Garden....

Today I had a look at the Permaculture Groups Garden at the back of the shops in Upwey.
It's inspiring, and has so much promise.
Foam boxes used as planters.

One of the beds, with Tomatoes growing up around old Sunflower stalks.

A bed prepared ready for Winter planting.

The Food Swap table.

Such a great community initiative with lots of ideas for the future.

Tomato From The Vegie Patch....

Isn't it beautiful, I've just been out and picked this now.

It's turned into a jungle of Tomato plants, just not much has ripened yet.

Breakfast at Libs...

On the weekend I went up to Sydney to stay with family
 and celebrate my Mums birthday.
Lib made us dear little trays of Tea and Coffee with miniature pots
jugs, and chocolate, just gorgeous.
(mine even had a Tea Cozy)

Soup For Soupees...

On the weekend I met some local people who are interested in Permaculture and have a community garden in the village.
They grow beautiful vegetables and donate some to a local charity called Soupees, which provides free soup and a place to chat on a Friday evening.
The other night I was given some of their produce... and of course made soup.
There was white button squash, capsicum, long peppers, a couple of purple beans, lovely heirloom tomatoes
and potatoes.(which actually came from the supermarket.
I cooked them all up with Indian curry paste, red lentils and some coriander that I had on hand.

Delicious, and it's been just the weather for it too.

Love Pumpkins

You just can't go past pumpkins for happy colour.
I just love them.

Plenty....

Plenty and abundance, concepts that resonate so warmly and evoke such warmth.

You have to love it when you have so much  that it's all 'shaken down and overflowing'.
The grace we experience  from sharing the gifts poured down upon us.

Love Lentils...

Sometimes looking for love is all about what's in the kitchen.

Fun In The Photo Booth...

This is just me experimenting with one of the Mac functions...
I finally worked out how to upload a montage of pics from the email function in I photo.
Exciting for me but perhaps not so much for everybody else

Any way 'Hi From Me'....

Saturday Breakfast...

It's such a dismal morning, I need something delicious
to go with the coffee, favourite books and correspondence.
One left over crepe, that's been in the freezer.
Heated up in the microwave.

Salmon rice (from last night), and diced Tomato.

With some Blue Cheese, or whatever you like that will help bind it all together.
Heated up in the microwave.

Assemble and 'voila'!...
