More Christmas At My House....

It's a hand painted wall sculpture, of the Madonna and Child,
with lots of gold leaf.
My sister bought it for me as a restoration project, and I love displaying it at this time of the year.

Something Coptic For Christmas...

This is a little Coptic Icon that I put up every Christmas,
I just love it's naive look,
and the fact that the 'angel doors' actually close over it.

It goes so show what beautiful things you can make
 without much to make them from,
 a bit of wood, some paint and a lot of imagination.
