George Tindale Gardens...

On Saturday after noon I went to a plant sale in the beautiful George Tindale Memorial Gardens.
The spring colour is just gorgeous, truly a beautiful part of the world.

Misty Morning...

It's a dull and dismal this morning.
However I did manage to get these lovely photos...
it all depends what you focus on.

Upwey Permaculture Group Garden....

Today I had a look at the Permaculture Groups Garden at the back of the shops in Upwey.
It's inspiring, and has so much promise.
Foam boxes used as planters.

One of the beds, with Tomatoes growing up around old Sunflower stalks.

A bed prepared ready for Winter planting.

The Food Swap table.

Such a great community initiative with lots of ideas for the future.

Tomato From The Vegie Patch....

Isn't it beautiful, I've just been out and picked this now.

It's turned into a jungle of Tomato plants, just not much has ripened yet.

Piriander Gardens...

This afternoon I went for a bit of a drive in the 'Hills', and stopped off to take some pics at the Piriander Gardens.
It had a lovely end of Summer beginning of Autumn feel.

The tree plantings are beautiful, and the garden has many rare or unusual specimens....
The only thing is it's all fairly steep and what goes down,
must come up huffing and puffing...or is that just me.
