Burnham Beeches...

At the top of the Alfred Nicholas gardens stands the old mansion
'Burnham Beeches'.
It's sadly not being used at present, but I took a photo of it reflected in
one of the lovely garden pools.
This is the sign, describing the history of the building.

Charity Fashion Parade...

This afternoon I took some pics at a local charity event run by the Uniting Church Opp Shop.
The models were all locals and the funds raised are going to support a school in East Timor, and the Belgrave CFA.

There were interesting fabric Collages decorating the walls.

Another Collage.

Another decorative panel.

Just for a bit of fun.

George Tindale Gardens...

On Saturday after noon I went to a plant sale in the beautiful George Tindale Memorial Gardens.
The spring colour is just gorgeous, truly a beautiful part of the world.

Over The Rainbow....

The view from Kalorama out over the hills.

I ended up taking a sharp left turn at Olinda Creek Road.
Through the valley... all soft unmade but graded roads.

Under a dense and beautiful canopy of Gum Trees....
up and eventually on to the high ground at the far end.

A beautiful and inspirational drive.

Hamer Arboritum...

The view back over the hills from Hamer Arboritum, on a cold and foggy Melbourne afternoon.

Around The Hills...

A few photos from the local area, when it was a bit more Autumny, than Wintery.
